Monday - Film clip from Freedom Writers Diary
Tuesday - Early dismissal. No class.
Wednesday - We will read up to page 108. Keep up with the reading if you are absent.
Homework: Read up to page 138, "Junior Year Spring 1997"
Thursday - Reading quiz. Continue reading.
Friday - Continue reading and class discussion. If you are absent, make sure you have read up to page 158.

This Week: December 2-6
We will continue reading Freedom Writers Diary and continue with class discussion and analysis. If you are absent please keep up with the reading schedule below:
Mon-Wed: Complete reading up to page 78 in the novel.
There will be reading questions assigned on Wednesday.
Thursday-Friday: Complete  reading up to page 108.

This Week: November 18-22
Monday - We will begin our next work, The Freedom Writers Diary by Erin Gruwell.
Questions on "The Lesson" are due today.
Tuesday- Notes on the novel. If you are absent, and need the notes, download the power point by clicking HERE.
Wednesday - Thursday. Please read up to page 30 in the novel. There will be a quiz tomorrow.
Friday - Quiz, Freshman Year Fall 1994

Monday - No School, Veteran's Day
Tuesday - Essays on Krik?Krak! are due today.
Tuesday - Thursday:  We will be starting our next unit which will begin with a reading of the short story "The Lesson" by Toni Cade Bambara. There will be study questions assigned with the story. These questions will be due by the end of the period on Thursday, and will count as a 20 point homework assignment.If you need a copy of the story click HERE. Friday: Introduction to The Freedom Writers Diary.

This Week: October 28- November 1
Monday: We will review the questions on "A Wall of Fire Rising" and we will begin reading "Between the Pool and the Gardenias."
HOMEWORK: Reading quiz tomorrow on the two stories above.
Tuesday - Reading quiz. We will finish our last story, "Night Women."
HOMEWORK - There will be a quiz tomorrow on ALL of the stories.
