Wednesday - We will read up to page 108. Keep up with the reading if you are absent.

Friday - Continue reading and class discussion. If you are absent, make sure you have read up to page 158.

Monday - No School, Veteran's Day
Tuesday - Essays on Krik?Krak! are due today.
Tuesday - Thursday:  We will be starting our next unit which will begin with a reading of the short story "The Lesson" by Toni Cade Bambara. There will be study questions assigned with the story. These questions will be due by the end of the period on Thursday, and will count as a 20 point homework assignment.If you need a copy of the story click HERE. Monday: We will review the questions on "A Wall of Fire Rising" and we will begin reading "Between the Pool and the Gardenias."

For the next two weeks,  we will be looking at the topics for the College Essay, brainstorming, pre-writing, revising and editing. By Monday, October 1st you all should have a completed College Essay that is ready to submit!
